Lightweight and dynamic: fashion blog with modern and fluid design

I developed the first version of Le Fashion Quotidien, a fashion blog edited by Tay Borges.

Developing blogs is something that I did not do very often since the vast majority of my clients were companies. Nevertheless, I accepted the challenge, which brought me a lot of new knowledge and experiences. I developed the first version of Le Fashion Quotidien, a fashion blog edited by Tay Borges.

The site had a fluid layout, with dynamic parts that adjusted, changing its size when new posts were published. The design was not only responsive but also organic, and the site was developed in WordPress so that the content could be produced and managed by the client.

The client

The Le Fashion Quotidien website was created by style consultant Tay Borges to share fashion tips and help everyone find their own style.

What I did

Art Direction and UI/UX.

Project Outcome

Key points

The revenue of the world fashion market is currently in trillions of dollars. Highly inspired by this powerful market, I have served several clients in the fashion industry. However, developing a blog, especially a fashion blog, is not something I have often done.

What I learned

Working with a style specialist who is highly engaged in the fashion industry and has high aesthetic expectations was not easy. I learned to deal not only with the aesthetic demands but also exercised different ways to approach certain technical limitations (many of them mine) of website development. It was undoubtedly a valuable learning experience.

I'm always looking for new challenges, projects and creative partnerships. Shall we talk?

Feel free to contact me. I love coffee and good conversations!
