Motion design and realistic 3D renders to present a unique product and its features

I was part of the team that developed a series of advertising pieces to present the Float Verve for Fila Brazil.

Developed especially for tennis athletes, the Float Verve combines technologies that bring comfort, damping, and energy return, guaranteeing a high performance on clay and hard courts. The stills have been developed to represent the lightness of the trainers and the company’s “Float on the sports courts” concept.

I worked on producing a series of 3D images and a video to present the details and functionalities of the product, as well as graphically demonstrating the technologies involved in its composition.

The client

Fila is a South Korean-owned athletics brand based in Seoul. The company was founded initially by Ettore and Giansevero Fila in 1911 in Coggiola, near Biella, Italy. Fila Korea acquired the brand in 2007 and launched its initial public offering (IPO) on the Korean Stock Exchange in September 2010. I worked for the Brazilian subsidiary.

Project Outcome

Key points

I worked on producing a series of materials and 3D images to present the details and functionalities of the product, as well as graphically demonstrating the technologies involved in its composition. My main activities were art direction, modeling and animation of several shots, particle simulations, and the final composition of the film.

What I learned

Some of the biggest challenges of this job were reproducing a real-world object in great detail and simulating particles, which is extremely important in many scenes. These two parts took up more time than the animations themselves.

I'm always looking for new challenges, projects and creative partnerships. Shall we talk?

Feel free to contact me. I love coffee and good conversations!
