Let's play together: motion design to present an event

I created some videos to summarize the last editions of the Hagenberg Game Jam.

A game jam is an event where participants try to make a video game from scratch and are usually guided by a theme. Hagenberg Game Jam is organized by people from the Playful Interactive Environments research group and the Department of Digital Media at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Hagenberg Campus, and has been held annually since 2011.

I was responsible for creating some videos to present a summary of the last editions of the Hagenberg Game Jam, an event promoted by the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria.

Project Outcome

Key points

My search for the diversity of projects in which I can apply my skills never stops. In this job, I used motion design to promote an event for students at a university that has been held annually since 2011. Each Hagenberg Game Jam follows a single topic, often related to current events. I have worked in the last years creating videos to promote the event.

What I learned

It was great to get back to work on something I love: motion design! This project was interesting because it was not a commercial commission, like the many other projects I have done in my career. I finished both videos during my Ph.D. when I was far from the industry to focus on my thesis.

I'm always looking for new challenges, projects and creative partnerships. Shall we talk?

Feel free to contact me. I love coffee and good conversations!
