Nubank, well-known for its innovative approach to design in the financial sector, has taken a fresh perspective on the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) pillars in its 2022 annual report. The aim of the project is not only to share relevant information about the company’s impact but also to address complex topics in an accessible, educational, and visually appealing manner.
Development of a graphic system to present the annual ESG report of one of Brazil's largest fintech
I was responsible for the art direction and graphic design of Nubank's 2022 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) report.
A flexible graphic system was designed for the report, which can be adapted to different platforms. A set of 3D illustrations accompanies the system, made using simple shapes, to serve as narrative guides and make it easier to understand the content. The layout of the report was designed to ensure comfortable reading while also considering practical navigation, making it an effective reference tool.

I helped build the report to provide flexibility and adaptability on different platforms. I was also responsible for producing minimalist 3D illustrations punctuating each of the report’s sections.
What I learned
Working for one of the largest companies in the financial sector in a country like Brazil is always intimidating. A positive point in this project was that, although the brand took great care with the brand and its applications, I had a certain amount of freedom to introduce elements that, at no point, clashed with the visual aspects of the identity.
